The Landing Zone Online

We are a conservation, education, and recreation organization dedicated to the protection, and exhibition of parrots and their habitats. We are a life-time home for rescued and needy parrots; we will never re-adopt or sell any member of our flock.

Our Promise is to provide a caring, healthy, affectionate home and environment to any parrot donated into our flock. Our staff and volunteers play and work with our parrots and make sure every Parrot has ample food, water, extra care items (vitamins, medications), toys and attention, in order to live the most enjoyable and prosperous life possible.

Jonah, a donated parrot now has a forever home at TLZPS! Jonah, the Red-crowned Amazon, Relinquished with love by Argie and Sarah.

The Landing Zone will accept healthy parrots as well as those who are neglected, abused or handicapped into our flock and will provide therapy, veterinary services, and attention to every parrot according to their needs during the span of their lifetimes.

Although we do not physically adopt parrots out, we do encourage volunteers to choose a parrot to virtually adopt, work with and routinely visit at the Sanctuary.
