Welcome to The Landing Zone Parrot Sanctuary's website!

We are a conservation, education, and recreation organization dedicated to
the protection, and exhibition of parrots and their habitats.



Since our foundation in early 2010, we have provided parrots a permanent, loving, enriching and growing environment and safe-haven.

From Wild to domestic Amazons, Cockatoos and Macaws, every parrot donated to our facility will remain permanently in our flock under The Landing Zone's care.

No member of our flock will ever be re-adopted, sold, forced into a breeding situation, or put to sleep.

April 27, 2013 - No news

March 21, 2013 - Our chairman, Chelsea Lee Gilbert, went in front of the Measure J committee at a public meeting in Palm Springs' City Hall asking for future assistance from the city's Measure J Initiative.

Although we are in our humble beginnings, we have BIG plans. With your support we plan on starting a temperate, true to life Avian Sanctuary and Avian Education center open to schools and the general public to generate a happy, natural life for all of our inhabitants and in order to start a whole new generation of Parrot and bird watchers and lovers.

T.L.Z.P.S, Inc. has plans to be the permanent home for 600+ parrots, and will feature exhibits for different Parrot species; emphasizing endangered species with the intent to stress the permanence of extinction and importance of conservation and caring for the creatures with which we share our homes and this wondrous world.
