Visiting your Parrot

This is Tico, an Amazon. He has been a resident of TLZPS since 2011 and is here to stay!

When a parrot is donated to The Landing Zone Parrot Sanctuary, they are here to stay! It is our goal to help parrots of all types--from Macaws to Cockatoos. We are here to provide a safe, caring, and loving home for these birds. Since our founding in 2010 we have been small, but that doesn't mean we don't have big plans!

In the future we hope to have a facility dedicated to these lovely birds for the public to see. It will be a home for them and an entertaining educational aviary for the public. We wish to teach others about these creatures and provide a wide open aviary area for these birds to be able to extend their wings and take flight.

However, at the moment, we are relatively small. We are currently in a temporary homing facility with our 20 parrots, but we are growing quite rapidly and with each month comes new parrots joining our flock. In a matter of time and with your help we can move these parrots to a more permanent habitat where they will recieve intense care and be open to the public. The public will be able to regulary visit and see birds here at TLZPS.

Safety is always first priority at TLZPS and we do our best to keep our birds in good physical and mental health. It can only happen with the help and support of our community, friends, and fellow parrots lovers. Thank you for everyone that has already helped; whether you have donated time, money, or your kind words!
