About Lola:

Lola is a 6-7 year old local desert bird, coming here with Captain, he being their owner's first and she being their second Senegal. A child and dog joined the family, causing them to need to be in a private room and occasionally covered to please the nearby neighbors, as they were friendly and boisterous. For Lola and Captain's happiness, as Captain was plucking himself, the owners felt they needed to be moved here to live with other birds.

We would like to thank Gene Monroe of Lyons, Colorado for her generous sponsorship of Lola the Senegal, her sponsorship will help make the Senegal enclosure a reality and ensure a happy life for Lola. Thank you Gene.
